This book is absolutely tiny and not very helpful I recommend you pay a bit and get a proper book that gives advice on how to actually do DIY tasks if that’s what you need It was most likely me not reading the description properly but if you want a proper guide this book is not for you Not enough photos, so very disillusioned, I’m a total beginner so will keep as reference but would not recommend for a complete novice. Great secrets santa for a DIY nut Nicely laid out book with some useful tips but a little disppointing as it looks almost like the pages are photocopies as the text is a dark grey and the pictures are washed out monochrome. Very clear and easy instructions to follow, and at a great price Terrific Imagine having a mentor withyears practical experienceWhat would you do?This is not a regular 'step by step' DIY manual; instead it's a little differentIt's a collection of real observations taken from the daily work of a professional builder, carpenter and all round handymanLearn to see the physical world through practical eyes like the author, learning a littleeach dayRead these easy to follow tips, tricks and techniques and then apply them to your own DIY projectsThe book aims to inspire, encourage, and motivate you to build up your DIY skills, no matter where youre starting from Save money using your own head, hands, and heart to create something wonderful, fix something you treasure, maintain something you want to keep forever or build something just for funGive your DIY skills a boost todayAUTHORS NOTE: This book takes all the actionable tips from mypage book 'How to be Handy' and distils them into an easier to read two columnA format A lighter read if you like If you've been kind enough to buy the 'big' book, please don't buy this one as you'll already have these tips! Stay wellIan I got the book as a gift and it is a complete waste of time for someone who is logical If you have never done DIY before and have no common sense this book is for you!
