The best intro to Epigenetics I have bought several for collegues Apart from the silly distorted photos the book is actually packed with useful info and figuresRecommend most highly

  2. says:

Great if you know a bit of advanced biology and genetics but for a complete layman I don t think they would follow it very well.

  3. says:

The language used was simple but the graphs used did not succeed in supporting my understanding of the topic, Epigenetics Some helped to explain a few of the genetic processes but most didnt, which I feel was because the graphical image was too obscure and didn t clearly relate to the explanation

Really useful, helpful little book that explains enough, whets the appetite for and is highly accessible for beginners and students.

A very explicit and concise summary of this complex topic for beginners at a reasonable price

  7. says:

The writing is clear and most of the diagrams helpful a useful summary of the rapidly expanding subject for non specialists I look forward to the next edition

Incredibly interesting and informative A must for those who want to understand genes and how the play a part in our lives The books guides the reader through the basic biology, however, some background knowledge will allow the reader to better engage with the subject.
