I guess I misread the title but I was searching for electrical and electronics fault finding and this book came up I couldn t tell from the title that this was not what I was looking for If you are looking for electronics, don t buy this, as it doesn t delve into electronic circuit using resistors, capacitors, transitors etc It is a system level household electrical fault finding book as far as I could tell Not for me, maybe for you As for value, there is a lot less content in here that I would expect from a software book, which I DO buy a lot of Only just over 100 pages and about 5 words per line So not worth anywhere near 13 IMO Should be priced just under a tenner, then I d give 3 stars and let the pros do the judging

Excellent up to date fault finding book, Brian Scaddan is a wealth of information, I would recommend this book to any student starting out for qualified electricians like me who are a bit old in the tooth

Got this for the fault finding section which is very short and basically useless Since this is a major part of the title I felt very let down As for the testing section there are far better books on this So basically it s a substandard book and I wouldn t touch it with a barge pole Don t know why it is getting good reviews

It says on the review that this book could be understood by non electricians, I found it way too complicated.
