The general basics of design concepts are covered fairly well in this book. However, I take issue at the fact it says it s 18th edition updated It has been updated, but it has an whole chapter dedicated to discrimination I d like to ask the author if he could show me where discrimination is mention in the 18th edition of the wiring regulations The chapter about SPD s is very lame and not in line with BS7671 either Which for such an area of change was a huge disappointment for a design guide allegedly updated to 18th edition.

Loads of pertinent information about installation design Lots of different examples and scenarios

Good examples to make you think in depth about systems, good illustrations to help explain.

When I ordered this book, I was expecting quite a large tome But is it very small, about A5 and 142 pages, looking back at the description ,it does state this , but it didn t register at the time and i just assumed it would be similar to other technical books I own oh well, caveat emptor Having said that, it is quite useful and concise, it couldn t be anything else really I m glad I didn t shell out a lot of money for the Hardback version.
