This is a must have for die hard Star Wars fans It was nice to read the last stories in this comic series I collected some of these in the 80s , but its clear that the money just was in it any The quality is not as good as the first books It seems Marvel just wanted to get as much money as possible out of a dying series The conlusion to the series is very disappointing.

It s cool to read the old classic stories They may be a bit silly bit still charmig And I like the angular artwork A good final farewell to Star Wars.

  3. Brian Hazelwood Brian Hazelwood says:

    Good read

  4. Helmut Lichtenegger Helmut Lichtenegger says:

Interessante Geschichten aus einem Star Wars Universum, das nicht ganz mit der George Lucas Timeline bereinstimmt Trotzdem f r Fans und Sammler zu empfehlen

High on the cheese factor, perfect closure to the original 77 to 86 run of comics The art in the last few issues Cynthia Martin is minimalistic compared to the rest, and this understandably turns a lot of people off It does put a dent in the visual continuity, but I like it The art is still fantastic if you allow it to be its own thing Some of the last stories are also weak the sudden introduction of new bad guys at the end replacing the previous bad guys who now join forces with Luke makes the conclusion seem rushed , but it s still super enjoyable If you find the extremely dated look as charming as I do, you re going to love it Luke goes full He Man in the last issue LOL I m stoked that Marvel put these out in hardcover and in Comixology Long live vintage Star Wars

Starts pulling away from the Star Wars universe and the stories get extremely long winded and boring Wanted to buy all the Omnibus s of Star Wars to read So I would have bought this one anyway Just a very tough read and art wasn t the greatest.

I actually had the first 3 being a Star Wars fan I needed to finish reading books 4 and 5 So I ordered these in mid february I read them all till 3 20 I can see why this was canceled Jo Duffy even though her stories were good she was put in an awful position How do you keep SW fresh after the defeat of the empire Had Lucasfilm been there right along helping to direct people like they now do for all thing in the universe might have helped The Nagai were threats and then in the last issues the series wrapped up with we saved the universe everyone is free I should mention there are a few characters that I really enjoyed I like Dani and the Zeltrons and Kiro from Iskallon My fault is also due to people wanting to learn the force and Luke says no I mean his duty is to be a Jedi knight and find others Not a good way to handle his character If you already have any of these in the series I do suggest you get this for your collection.

  10. Kletter Kletter says:

The Marvel Comics Star Wars series did not end particularly well and the last omnibus volume collecting that series is also the weakest A lot of silly stories but some good ones as well by writer Jo Duffy is undermined by bad art especially those illustrtaed by Cynthia Martin I can only recommend this volume to Star Wars fans who are also completists in regards to Star Wars comics and novels Otherwise take a pass on this one
