Feasting on the Word: Year A. The commentary gives very scholarly information about the particular lectionary scriptures It s interesting to see different perspectives on particular passages Sometimes it gives me angles to pursue that I hadn t considered in thinking about the truth that the Bible is bringing about Of course, I don t always agree with the commentator, but it gives me a way of addressing what I truly believe and digging deeper to find greater applications and truth in familiar and unfamiliar texts I recommend it highly.
