I agree completely with the bad review here regarding this book s extremely poor design it s so badly designed, it verges on idiotic Oh, Mr McCloud, the irony If the author hadn t been someone famous, I doubt that any of us would have persevered past Page 1 The book is very poorly laid out the fonts are tiny, and coloured, and on stupid dark backgrounds which make reading the damn thing a hard slog indeed some of the so called chapters are downrig

Really lovely book, husband loved it.A bit tightly bound you feel you have to bend the spine a bit to comfortably read the centre of pages.Really good quality paper and immaculate finish.

Kevin has a very entertaining, readable style and tackles some complex but fascinating science into layman s terms Inspiring stuff that will encourage the reader to take steps to improve their home.

The so called Kindle Edition of this book is a 20 page pamhlet with some clip artNot the same book, it needs to be made clearer particularly when says it is a Kindle edition When will proper Kindle editions of these sort of illustrated books become widely available

Spot on And sometimes a bit frightening because of the sensibility it prescribes too This is form following function at its best.I can say no than it s brilliant. When you watch Grand Design, the TV program, Kevin is obviously very cautious with his comments so as not to upset.

Good in principle Some interesting content but many chapters don t feel finished and a surprising number of typos it feels like no one has done a proof read Still worth a read for anyone embarking on their own project or just wishing to consider the impact of how they live.
